Making Friends and Enemies
The Basics of HTML (Hyper Text Mark-up Language)
This text is not. This is the first sentence, w/o break. And this is the second We're excited to have you here with

these commands, please refer to the NCSA HTML Guide.
Like in "real" wrestling, E-Wrestling mostly depends on your mic skills. If you can't write a good intervue then you're out of luck. There are several ways to have intervues, I'll do my best to go into them as much as possible.
Email to Email Tips
Sometimes when someone makes a comment on your wrestler the first thing that you think of is
replying with a one or two line comment. THIS IS A BAD THING TO DO!!!!!! When you reply to a RP always remember to put it in a RP Format.
One tip that is important no matter what type of RP you do is always be original. Don't make all of your
RP's sound the same and above all, don't cut/paste "you suck" a thousand times and call it an intervue!
Mass Mailing Tips
The only problem with mass mailing is that it makes it easy for an opponent to ambush you with fifty RP's on the last day. The only advice I can give you to avoid this is to cream him with RP's the whole time and hope
it's enough. Some E-Feds have rules that say you can only RP five or six times a week and that provides some protection from ambushes.
Message Board Tips
Most Message Boards and Guestbooks allow you to use HTML tags. HTML tags let you use some great visual effects in your RP's.
Don't make every RP look the same, they just get boring after a while and nobody reads them.
Never make one or two line RP's, always make sure reply's are in some RP format.
Don't just have your wrestler talking, use backgrounds and be descriptive.
Don't just ramble on, talk about upcoming matches and fueds. Make your RP's interesting and fun to read.
Winning Titles
You've worked hard, you've won matches, you've RP'd your butt off, but you still haven't gotten a title shot. There are many reasons for getting title shots unfortunately skill isn't always enough. That's why Rey Mysterio Jr. isn't the World Champion. Usually the
wrestler with the most title shots are the ones with the most heat.
Drawing heat for your wrestlers is making them interesting for everyone. Everyone is interested in
seeing how your matches turn out. If you want to draw heat to your wrestler you need to start angles and fueds and get noticed.
You can usually get title shots when your wrestlers move up on the card. That means that they have more important matches. Usually cards are divided into the lower card, mid card, and main event. When you make it to the main event you will usually get more title matches.
You have established your wrestler to where you feel comforatble with him or her. Where do you go next? Some people keep their wrestlers single. Others would rather form an alliance, either unofficailly or officially. You want to do this, but....
Many E-Feds let you use real wrestlers but most of them want you to use original wrestlers. An E-Fed with ten Rocks and Undertakers and a Stone Cold Alex Austin won't be much fun. I suggest that if you have the option, go with original. That makes it a lot more fun in the long run.
Lets face it, 500 pound giants don't do 450 flips and Rey Mysterio Jr. won't gorilla press Yokozuna. If your character isn't believable he won't be successful. When you Create your character make sure you keep how big and what style he is in mind. His finisher should also be humanly possible. No real person can flip thirty feet in the air and land an elbow drop on an opponent!
Before you do anything else get a mental picture of what your wrestler will be like. Think of what he will look like and most importantly what he will act like. The rest of creating a wrestler will be easier if you already have the wrestler in your mind.
The most important part of making a good wrestler is deciding what his alignment will be. This will decide
what kind of intervues he has and how he wrestles his matches. Once you have decided on an alignment be
consistent. Don't have your wrestler sneak attacking faces and then acting like the greatest guy in the
world the next day.
Wrestling style is basically how he wrestles in each match. For example, Sabu is a Suicidal wrestler, Rey Mysterio Junior is a Luchador, Bret Hart is a Technical Wrestler, and Hulk Hogan is(was) a Powerhouse Brawler. Your wrestler's finisher should also be the same style as your wrestler. A powerhouse would use a powerbomb not a corkscrew plancha.
In E-Wrestling you are your own manager but having someone come to the ring with you is a definite advantage. They are very useful in filling space in an intervue and can help out during a match. For years Ric Flair wouldn't be seen coming down to the ring without a female escort. She would add to his entrance and also supply a distraction during the match. Managers can also act as the main speakers in an intervue, for years Paul Bearer would do all the talking for the Undertaker.
Your wrestler has to have a background. This will usually include what he did before he came to the current E-Fed, other E-Feds he has wrestled in, and his personality. Many idea's for intervues come from a wrestlers background. Just about anything can be used in his background but again, be realistic!
Just like in real wrestling, other wrestlers will interfere in your matches. Even if they aren't your enemies, they may be helping your opponent or attack him and get you disqualified. That's why you need someone to watch your back. Most stables are made of wrestlers of the same alignment who watch each others backs.
If you want to interfere in a match most E-Feds have you include it in your Stratagy. There are lots of
reasons to interfere but try not to be the guy that interferes in every match on the card and ruins all the matches!
If you want to get your wrestler noticed, you will have to make a few friends and a few enemies. Your wrestler willusually get more title matches and higher up on the card if other people are interested in your wrestler.
