Cut - Fire, brilliance and scintillation of a diamond are largely determined by the proportions of various parts of the stone. Cut is an extremely important factor in diamonds. We show you the different variations in proportions, symmetry and polish which can reflect on the price of a stone drastically.
Color - Most diamonds are colorless to slightly yellowish. The best grade is colorless which is expressed using the letter D, and steps down accordingly to the letter Z. There are also diamonds of brownish to yellow, pink to purple and red to blue. These colors are called “fancy colored diamonds.” They vary in different levels of intensity of color.
Clarity - All diamonds have a trace of their growth history which makes each stone unique. In gem-quality diamonds, this includes minute internal and external characteristics. The clarity scale reflects the size, number, location and visibility of the characteristics when viewed under 10X magnification.
Carat Weight - The weight of a diamond is expressed by carat weight. One carat is equal to 0.2 grams. Carats can also be expressed by points. One carat is equal to 100 points. ![]()
