My pursope for being here in college. I am attending college because i want a better fururte and a career. I worded in the police deparment, but now i would like to study nursing. My background show that as a child I learned to figth and hoped to have a better future. I am an only child and my father is a retired teacher, I sae my father studying every day and he reached his mastery in Spanich in his fifties. To be the only child made me be responsible and independent and I learned to mreach everything by myself. I am currently living in Great Bend,Kansas,so I Chose Barton because i do not want to leave town. I have always though that by getting a better education, a person could have more opportunities for better jobs and future. And, my experiencein my last work avaken my hopes to nursinf. I was happy with my job but i wished to try nursing. Well this summer I am taking Composition I and Pre-algebra because I like to advance some subjects. I am not exactly sure what i would lite to pursue but nursing is a possibility for my intended major.my other responsabilityis my family,abd they take my time up because my dauther is playing softball and she has practice every day in the afternoon,and my son is in baseball and he has practive Monday and Wennesday in the mornings. They also are taking summer school. My husband suppors my college,but also had some money saved and this helped us too. My general plans after graduating or finishing my studies at Barton are: to have a good job, but we will see. I hipw in twenty years to be working as a nurse, and finishing my education. I am here at colllege because I wish for a better future and a career. my college experience is helping me. achieve my hopes and i am really happy to be here, I have a clear goal that i need to finishing studies.I am not sure how many semesters i have left but I want to done soon.my reason for being here since I enrolled is becoming stronger every day.
