Mandie is 21 years old and she graduated from The Ohio State University in June with a degree in English. She is currently working on her Master's program in education at OSU, and she'll graduate in June 2006. After that, Mandie hopes to find a job teaching high school English.
Brad, 24, is currently employed as the training coordinator at Genco Distribution Center in Marion, OH. In addition to all his fun wedding-planning duties, Brad enjoys golfing & spending time with Mandie.
Mandie and Brad met through mutual friends in 2003. They quickly became good friends and eventually Brad could not resist Mandie's charm! They began dating in summer 2004 and have been inseparable ever since.
After dating for awhile, Brad got up the nerve to pop the question. He proposed to Mandie on New Year's Eve night, 2004. Being the funny guy that he is, Brad pretended that his car had broken down and asked Mandie to drive from Columbus to Marion to pick him up. She was not pleased about this -- in fact, she started calling everyone she knew in Marion to ask if they could give Brad a ride to Columbus! But Brad eventually persuaded her to drive to Marion, and Mandie was surprised to find Brad dressed in a tux...and with a ring box! The rest, as they say, is history.
