| My second favorite musical, "The Scarlet Pimpernel," inspired this sketch of Sir Percival Blakeney. This character is a challenge in design terms as the correct balance must be struck between the heroic and the effeminate as Percy is a hero who masquerades as a fop. I don't think I've found that balance yet, so this sketch stands as a preliminary design. |
