Some of these bloodlines are new to Western Australia and we are looking forward to the future with great excitement.
Diane of Lionheart Kennels (NSW) has been breeding Rhodesian Ridgebacks for over 30 years and has bred numerous champions not only in the showring but also in the obedience ring. Diane owned the first three Rhodesian Ridgebacks to gain an obedience title in Australia. The first of those being Ch.Glenrowan Alana (brown nose) who gained her title in Australia in March 1974. The second and third, bred by Diane, were Aust. Ch. Lionheart Athena C.D. and Aust. Ch. Lionheart Diana C.D.
On a note of trivia, tracing back through the generations of Ch. Glenrowan Alana, Diane's first Ridgeback, we found that she is related to H.M. The Queen of England's Rhodesian Ridgeback, JUST OF BAMBA, given to the Queen by the South African Government.
We would like to thank Diane for allowing us to have this beautiful boy. We look forward to continuing on some excellent lines in the future.
