Where do the Rangers Go from here?

Yesterday NHL 2nights Berry Melrose had the pleasure of having a chat with the newly acquired Rangers GM: George Khanpapyan

Berry: George they say your team is too soft on wingers, how do you feel about that statment.

George: I couldn't disagree more, with Corey Stillman on our Left Wing we feel GREAT, he is very young and  has a lot of power left in him

we really hope he will blossom for us and be the amazing player we know, look for us to bring in another big name  player into our Left Wing System.

For our Right Wing we feel the most confident about, we feel with the dominant veteran presents of Hull ( 74 OV) and our leading point man Zubrus ( 73 OV)

which we hope will only set records for us. Also with the recent acquisition we feel really well about our Wingers.

Berry: Alot of fans are saying Lindros looks injured any info on that.

George: Lindros was playing with a bruised hand, he is fully healthy now, and we hope he will play up to his potential.

Berry: How do you feel your Defense stands right now?

George:  We actually feel we have on of the best Defense, and with Hasek in net the NEHL will get a chance to see how good it actually is, when they play with

us (Laughter).

Berry: Plan on any big player deals by the deadline?

George: There is still alot of time left until the deadline, but we feel that our team is pretty much set.

Berry: What is your goals for this season?

George: Stanley Cup.

Berry: How do you feel about playing the Avalanche?

George:  We feel we have a much better chance of beating them with our explosive offense. We didn't have some players the last time when we played them

and we feel those players will make a great difference.

Berry: How is Adam fitting in with the Rangers?

George: Very well, he is liking it here and we like him here too.

Berry: Who has been the most surprising player on your team this year?

George: I would have to go with Lindros, he has put up points, but we really think he has much more potential. I just hope

the injury he overcame wont bother him during the season

Berry: Thank you very much for the interview.

George: No Problem!

Team SpotLight - Chicago Blackhawks

Interview with Blackhawks GM - Arthur Demurchyan

George - How do you feel about your recent acquisitions?

Arthur - We got "The Wall" to give us the goalie presents we feel will get us in the Stanley Cup finals along

with the defense  we have built.

George - Do you plan on making anymore big name acquisitions by the end of the deadline?

Arthur -  If the right deal is there we will always listen, but we are mainly just trying to upgrade our 3rd line now.

George - Who do you feel is your toughest opponent?

Arthur - Most likely the Rangers, because their new acquired goalie presence  in Hasek and also their dominant

strong forwards who play great 2 way hockey!

George - Explain how your rivalry with Boston was formed?

Arthur - The Boston organization apparently feels they have a better team then us. So our players and management

exchanged some harsh words with them.

This will all settle down when we kill the Boston Teddybears on the ice.

George - Gms have said you lack the center position what do you think about that?

Arthur -  Peter Forsberg and Jason Allison are both dominant young centers. I'd like to see what those teams

say after they play against us. Eric Manlow or Igor Korolev are great 3rd lien centers, and double-shifting our entire 1st linr

as our 4th will be no problem, seeing we have great youth at the forward position, therefore those youngsters can

endure the double shifting.

George - Thanks for the Interview Mr. Demurchyan.

Arthur - No Problem George.
