Author's Note When I set out to write this story I had no idea where it was going to go, but now that it's completed I can fondly look back on writing and am truly proud of it's conclusion. I wrote Crossing Paths over the span of a year which explains the shift in writing style from beginning to end, in writing your style will undoubtedly grow and change over time. I sincerely hope that as a reader you were able to find part of yourself in the story as I think we all can. Everyone knows what it's like to make decisions and sacrificies, it's a part of life. Luckily the two lead characters, Nick and Hannah, were able to form such a strong love for one another through all their trials and tribulations. The deepest love I find comes from comforting one another through misery which is where the story was derived. The story is written at face value, what you see is what you get. Nick was able to bring the light out in Hannah again but in the end it could be that rediscovered independence inside her that drives them apart. Want to know how the story ends? Look for its sequel "Lost in the Rain."
