Cheap Vodka and Trojans

He calls you from the blue
Drunk, saying he needs you
Wants to see you
Wants to breathe you
And soon you trample off
To be in his arms
As the sun comes up

He doesn't believe in love
Just thinks it's for fools
Too afraid to see the joke of life
He says love is the punch line
A kicker to make the worst laugh
When they thought things
Couldn't be more bad

He looks at the world through blue eyes
Seeing straight to the hypocracy and lies
Says that it's all a conspiracy
To trap people in denial
But then he changes subject
And asks you to stay a while

He knows just how to look
With a quirky smile
You two flip through his book
Pointing out and laughing
Not taking things seriously

He hates musicals
Wonders why the people burst out in song
Says that's not reality
But in his head he has his dreams
To be president, to be CEO
To learn things no one knows
And he tells you, holding you in his arms
Never taking his eyes off you
Cause you captivate him with what you do

He wears wild eccentric clothes
And listens to the music no one knows
Too afraid to fit a stereotype
He lives a random comical life
Always able to crack a joke
Always saying what's never told
Cause he is his own
Whether in a crowd or alone
