OH MY! I absolutly cherish this album!! Probably for this main reason....CHICHIRI! Mizu kagami, the song that the entire album is, very rightfully, named after is ultimately the most beatiful and tragic song I have ever heared, and best of all, it's sung by chichiri! It tells the story of his pain and regret for what he did in the past. Chichiri sings it in his, deeper serious voice, wich to me, is better than his regular voice. It's so sexy!!-_^ The song starts out with a lovely and very sad sounding Piano intro that allmost makes you want to cry, and then the guitars,bass, and drums come in. There is very little synth. in it so it sounds very simple, yet elegant and not overdone. The best part of this song, however, would have to be the break tword the end. It's simpley Chichiri, singing in perfect harmoney with a piano. Thats all, just him and the piano and it is absolutely gorgeous! This song is a lovely, lovely, masterpeice, that is very enjoyable, yet very, very sad at the same time.
Ok now that i have my rants and raves about mizu kagami over with, i'll go on with the review. Okay... the first 2 bgms i don't like . I men they're okay, but not my favorite. They'r all actiony sounding and such. The other 2 bgms are really pretty especially "At Dawn" . Me and my sister(tenmei's sister hates fy not mine!) have this strange feeling that we've heard it some where before. Like Tory,(my sister) says, "when you listen to it, you know where it's going" After the Bgms, Theres "Moonless night" by Akemi Satou. This is a lovely song!! It's slow and kind of scary sounding. But in a pretty way!
