Characters' Vocal Memories

Miakas' songs

In all these songs aren't the greatest ( Thats probably due to the fact that I hate Miaka, oh Well..) The first song is basicaly "Miakas Theme" Due to the fact that they play the instrumental version many (many) times throughout the series. It sounds like some sort of adult contemperary song (and that sax at the beginning is so cheesy!!) Sorry miaka fans...

The second one, "Still" However is allot better than the first one, my opinion. It Sounds very early ninties. But that's not a bad thing! And Miaka's voice in it is allot more tollerable.

Tamahomes' songs

tamahome's songs are both pretty Tollerable, not my faves though. The first one is Also considered "Tamahomes' theme" If you can remeber they played it when Tamahome first came to miakas' rescue! *sigh*I think it sounds kind of Martigraz-ish (Sorry, i'm allways makin weird comparisons ^_^;;) But it' true!! It's very happy sounding and kinda cute! I just hate the long, long LONG instrumental part in the middle!!! *shudders* Waaaa!!! It's so bad!!! Ok Moving on...

I prefer "Soshite Yami no saki ni" to the other one. This one sounds very tango-ish and it's slower. But if you're a Tamahome fan, you'll like this one. He's showing us that deep dark corner of his heart, where he's soft, like a woman....(LOL!!!)

Hotohoris' Songs

Ay! "Sadame no Hoshi" is one of the best tracks on this cd! It's also considered, "Hotohori's theme". This is a beautiful song folks! All i can think about whan i hear it's haunting, is some dark , dusty temple. Or an ocean, ...i can't decide.. (^_^;; thats kind of a big difference..) I would say that it's hoigh point is the instrumental part at the end, thats jazzed(not litterally) up with a fiddle, and a somthing that sounds like a tea kettle whistle! It's such a pretty song!!

His next song, "Boku no Uchuu ni Kimi ga Iru" is Better than "Sadame no Hoshi" ; and beleive me that is saying ALLOT! Again this one is very beautiful! It's very chinese-y sounding. The colors that i think of when i hear it are light seafoam green and light blue (ya know, those kinda colors) In it he's singing about Miaka (x_x ACK!) and how, you guessed it, she is in his universe, (Duh!) The one part of this song that i don't like is the instrumental part in the middle with the jazzy guitar thing, it just doesn't fit the song.

Yuis' Songs Personally, i don't like either of these songs, sorry, Yui fans! But i'll review 'em anyway, cuz thats the kinda nice guy that i am! Her first song, "I wish" is the slower of the two. It starts out with the music box that is played in ep. 11 (i dunno, maybe 12?) when Miaka and Tamahome were getting all intimate in the closet at the Kutou palace. That's kind of pretty, (of course i think any music box is pretty! *_*) Anyway, i can't really go into great detail about this song, as i don't listen to it much (Gomen!) But although i don't really like this song, i have to say that it really does suit Yui and it does, fit FY as a series.

I probably prefer "Best friend" to "I wish.." this one is a little faster and has a little more beat. Thats all i have to say on this song though, (gomen again!)

Nuriko's songs

I love Nuriko's songs! The first one, "Kaze no Uta" It's so pretty and kinda sad sounding, although i don't know the lyrics so it's hard to come to a desicion Oh well, But it's such a Nuriko-ish song!

I really like this one! Better than "Kaze no Uta" All i can think of is a beach party! It's so cute and happy sounding! It reminds me alot of the girly Nuriko, in the first few episodes. It's so happy and care free!

Chichiri-samas' songs!!-(these one's are reviewed by Tenmei ^_^) This song is probably the ultimat reason that i love FY and Chichiri, i have a long sentimental story behind this, but i don't wanna bore u all so, i'll keep it short! My sister had this FY cd (actually it was the singles collection, but i'm just tryin to make this easier ^_^) and, this was before any of us had seen it. She just bought it cuz it had a pretty cover, but anyway, we were in the car and i asked her if i could listen to her cd. When i first put in the cd, it was on random, so the first track it went to was 10 (Kachou Fuugetsu) and the minute that song started i sed, "GOD I LOVE THIS SONG!"

Kachou Fuugetsu is ultimitly one of my two favorite songs (the second being Mizu Kagami) It really reminds me of the beach! All I could think about when i first heared it was the "Sexy Blue Haired Guy On The Cover Of The Cd" dancing around in a Hawaiian shirt and a pair of capri length cargo shorts and singing on a beach ( I have a very vivid imagination *_*) Anyway, this is a very cheerful song and is definately worht a listen!

The next of Chichiris' songs is "Ochanoko Saisai Hengen Jizai" This one is really cute! (but not as good as some of his other songs.) It's really up beat and happy, and so are the lyrics. It's what i would call a "Masked" Chichiri song, if you will. it's really happy and care free. More to come!!!! I'll finishe the rest of them soon ok!?
