Don't ever be fooled by Sunderland injuries hit list, what a way for Peter Reid to cover up should Arsenal beat them in the opening home game. Expect a full squad against the Gunners without the service of Petit and Overmars to Barcelona, Winterburn and Suker to (West Ham).
The Gunners is weakened at the midfield and the left wing and with the lasting aquiring of Pires(Marseilles), Etame Mayer(R.Mallorca) and unknown guy Damel(Olympic Nimes) is not doing any good for the Gunners this season. However, respect must be given for Arsene Wenger for his purchase and disposal, his wisdom and vision is yet to tell.
Theirry Henry & Kanu is still around and Berkamp, Vieira and hardworking Ljunberg is still performing up to expectation.
Sunderland purchase of Don Hutchison(Everton) and Julio Arca(Boca Juniors) is yet to be tested, but the Stadium of Lights remain highly fortified as ever.
A draw is the best outcome but I strongly believe that Arsenal may be able to turn the tide around with a weaker Arsenal side.
