Even with the talented Robbie Keane, Whelan and McAllister last season, Conventry is struggling to stay alive but without the trio, well it's seems like Strachan is preparing for 1st Divison soccer next season. What a way to start for an early preparation!
Boro's with Bryan Robson head finally clear up, disposing of the "trouble maker" Paul Gascoigne to Everton for Free and bringing in Alen Boksic(Lazio), Paul Okon(Florentina), Christian Karembeu(R.Madrid), Joseph D.Job(Lens) and Noel Whelan(Conventry) at least made some sense now.
The toothless Conventry even with the service of the terror twin, Hadji & Chippo seems unlikely to hold on to Boro's onslaught this time especially in the first game of the season.
Wait till Hadji and Chippo get their call-up for International duty and you bet Conventry is going down and relegated. It's about time Gordon!
