REF Rifts Earth Veritech Fighter Pilot O.C.C.

VAF-8 Veritech Alpha Fighter (Borrowed from the Third Invid War Website)

The Veritech Pilot is the very elite of the REF. Advancements in the technology used to create these versatile Robotech mecha have made these pilots deadlier than ever. The Veritech Pilot is trained in the use of all Robotech veritech mecha, allowing the use of the VF-series and added FAST packs, VAF Alpha series, VBF Beta series, VF-1V Vindicator, Shadow Fighter Alpha, as well as Southern Cross Veritech Hover Tanks.Any additional veritech mecha that are developed will be learned as needed. The Veritech Pilot is also trained in the use of the Cyclone power armor. Training is limited to the use of the VR-135 Forager and the standard Forager systems only.

In addition to the O.C.C. skills listed, with bonuses in parentheses, the player can select additional skills as listed below.

Attribute Requirements: I.Q. 9, P.P. 9 or higher preferred.
O.C.C. Skills:

*Select three specific types of Veritech mecha combat. All types of Veritechs can be operated by the Veritech Pilot, but at the Basic training level. To increase one’s skill, the character must select the specific mecha combat skill. Use the Beta Basic training bonuses if the pilot has no formal training in the Logan or AJACS Southern Cross mecha. Macross-era and Southern Cross-era Veritech Pilots can pilot the VF-1V Vindicator with the usual VF bonuses, but all new mecha are piloted at the basic training level. All Rifts Earth-developed mecha will be piloted at the basic level unless special training is taken.

** Hand to Hand: Expert can be changed to Martial Arts but at the cost of one “other” skill.

O.C.C. Related Skills: Select 15 other skills. Plus one additional skill at level three, two at level six, and one at levels nine and twelve. All new skills start at level one proficiency.
