Tonight's Thunder was a good show. I especially liked how the Perfect Event got roasted, toasted, and burned to a crisp. Hilarious!!
Anyway, tonight Rey, Disco, Kidman, and Lance Storm fought in a four corners match. Disco and Rey came out together first. (And may I say that Rey looks a lot better without Tygress by his side.) Then Storm came out and Rey and Disco double-teamed him until Kidman came into the ring and broke it up. Then Kidman and Storm start wrestling in the ring. After a series of nearfalls, Kidman rolls to the edge of the ring and Rey tags himself in. Rey does a bunch of high flying manuevers on Storm. Although as he was about to do the Bronco Buster (Ruff Ryder), Storm extended his leg for the great equalizer. Ouch!! Then Storm tagged in Disco. And Rey and Disco went at it. Rey applied the guilotine leg drop and gets a nearfall until Kidman breaks it up. Then Kidman and Rey go at it at ringside. In the meanwhile, Storm applies his submission hold and Disco taps out.
Although Storm won the match, I think tonight was the best I've seen Rey wrestle since he's been back. And the fact that he looks SOOO hot doesn't hurt either. Hopefully, the fact that he's doing so well in the ring means that he's ready for singles matchups.
Later on, Juvi and Tygress take on Lt. Loco AKA Chavo Guerrero and Major Gunns. Juvi and Chavo start out with great moves. Later Juvi tags in Tygress leaving her in the ring with Chavo. After she yells, "Whatcha gonna do?" a couple of times Chavo tags in Gunns. Then Miss "all talk, no action" tags Juvi back in. After Gunns lowblows Juvi, he tags Tygress back in. This time Tygress and Gunns get into a catfight only to be broken up by Juvi and Chavo. Then Chavo powerbombs Juvi leaving Tygress and Gunns fighting once again. This time Gunns gets hurt and Chavo tosses Tygress off to the side. Since Chavo is distracted, Juvi gets the Cruiserweight belt and nails Chavo with it allowing him to get him down for the three count. So Juvi wins and him and Tygress hug. Just as long as she's not hugging Rey, I'm happy.
