I awoke violently body sweating. I reached for my love, but she wasn’t there. Then a crack of lighting lit the room ever so beautifully and I saw her by the room. The lighting casting glorious shadows across her naked body. She held out her hand and with the gentlest of voices said. “Come to me my sweet love.” I arose from the bed and walk to her. I positioned myself behind her and wrapped my arms around her waist. The feel of her velvet skin against mine comforted me. She leaned her head back onto my chest and let out a soft sigh, and again spoke with that gentle voice of hers. “You had the dream again my love did you not?”
“Yes my sweet I did.” I replied softly just then another bolt of lighting lit up the night sky. I gazed out the window at the beauty of the night sky afire with lighting. “‘Tis another beautiful stormy night my sweet love is it not?”
“Umm aye sweet that is.” She answered. I hugged her tighter against my body. She turned slowly in my arms to face then with sweet gentle lips she kissed me and taking my hand led me back to the bed. “Let us rest my sweet love. For another Millennium has begun and we must prepare.” With that I walked back to the bed with her and we laid down. She snuggled in close to me. Her head upon my shoulder and her hand softly caressing my chest. I sighed happily and smiled a warm smile and we drifted off to a blissful sleep.
