One by one they fell to my sword. Until there was only He and I remaining on the battlefield. I stared across the body and blood-strewn battlefield at him are eyes meeting. He smirked at me and said quite frankly. “This time I shall end your pitiful existence once and for all.” I grinned back and replied to him ever so calmly and blantatly.
“This time demon the prize shall be mine.” My delusions of grandeur were shattered with one swing of his sword. His sword seared thru my abdomen. Causing me to drop to my knees in unimaginable pain my sword dropping from my hand. He raised his sword above his head for the killing blow and as he did his face contorted into a look of pure agony.
An instance later his heart if you could call it that exploded from his chest impaled on a sword. The sword drew back slowly his heart being knocked off by his chest cavity fell to the ground. As the sword was removed totally from his body he dropped to the ground eyes caught open forever in anguish. I looked up and saw standing there holding her sword dripping with his blood and her eyes glowing deep violet. I saw my love my angel I reached up and as I did I passed out from the loss of blood.
I awoke in bed covered in Red Satin sheets my wound healed, but my love was nowhere to be found. Then I caught a glimpse of some writing on the wall and smiled at the words and drifted back off to sleep
