"Java Smooth!":Interview with Wilson Rainway,taken from "Java Smooth! DFW Art Digest" I-Hello,Wilson.It's an honor and a privilage to have the oppurtunity to speak to you today. W-Thank you,it's great to be here. I-Now,first off,I think we all would like to know where you were born. W-Well,I was born in a small town called Fort Worth, Texas in 1966. I-Hmmm...a Texan, ehhh ? W-Yes,tried and true ! I-How did Fort Worth life influence your poetry ? W-Ever since I was small,I've enjoyed seeking harmony withen things that appear to be existant. I-Wow,I agree. W-Thank you. I-How many publications has your work been published in? W-Oh jeez...i...uh...wow,I think were up to seven? Seven or Eight? (Wilson's wife says "Eight" in background,Wilson agrees with her) I-And these would be... W-"D Magizine", "Highlights for Children", "Jagged Ice", "Ten Foot Crow", things like that,you know? I-Is your mother still living with you and Mary ? W-Yep...yes she is. I- Do you have any idea how brilliant your work is, and how many people literally worship your every written word? W-I'm aware of some of the fans and their admiration, but as far as that goes,no. I-You've gone through many phases and periods of your work, your "Dark" period, your "Heart" stage...where are you know? W-I am currently defining my name as well as my roots as a culture. I-Will we see another book from you ? W-We have something special planned for Christmas, so check your local book shop for details. I-Wilson,it has been great to talk to. W-Thank you.
