"Tate-ouji is, in my humble opinion, one of the most noble villains in anime. Hi is in love with the beauteous Yuka, a love that transcends time and incarnations. However, he is willing to sacrifice that love, and Yuka herself, in order to achieve his goal. Where most people would start shouting "Tate no baka!" I don't see it as such. Sure, he wants to "purify" the world by killing everybody, but you must realize: they, like him, would be reincarnated as well. This way, he can see the world to be molded into one not of destruction and hate, but as it was meant to be. He even sacrifices himself in the end! And... well, he's gorgeous. #^^# heh heh heh..."
