Shizumaru Hisame no Koibito
Chapter 2
Shizumaru slowly opened his eyes to see white, then realized that he was starring at the ceiling. He looked
at his clothes, and saw that he was wrapped in bandages around his ribs sides and right shoulder, and on top
of the bandages he was wearing under garments. A door slide open from the other side of the room. A girl,
with jet black hair and deep brown eyes in a red and white robe, walked in. "So you're a wake." she said with a
relived smile.
" Do I know you?" Shizumaru asked not sure because of his amnesia.
" Well, not formerly, I am Sue Gee Ko, and you are...." she asked sitting on the side of the bed.
[ What should I tell her? That my name is Shizumaru, and I'm going around fighting people trying to find this
demon who killed my mother.] Shizumaru clenched the sheet tightly, not looking into the girl's sight. She noticed
that he was griping the blanket tightly and tensely. She put her hand gentle on his forehead. Shizumaru
loosened up on the sheets and gazed into her eyes.
" Hey, calm down, I'll go get you something to eat O.K." she said standing up then left the room.
[Now, it's time to leave.] he thought. Throwing the sheets to the side, and sitting up. [ Where is my umbrella and
sword!? And my outer set of clothes?!?] he thought in distress. He looked around he saw his umbrella leaning
against the dresser. He looked at the ground making sure that there was nothing that he could trip on, the only
thing that he saw was a small, short table in the middle of the room. [Okay. All I have to do is avoid the table,
get my umbrella, find my outer layer of clothes and leave.] he thought, as he started to put weight on his legs.
He took one step then collapsed to the floor. [Whats wrong with my legs?!?!] he thought frantically. The door to
the room slid open as the girl known as Sue Gee Ko walked in with a tray of food in her hands. She saw the
stranger on the ground, she put the tray down on the table then helped him up back to the bed. " You're too
weak to be out of bed yet." she said laying him down.
" I can't stay! People are looking for me!" he said trying to get up again. Sue Gee Ko sighed then walked out
the door.
[Now what is she doing?] Shizumaru sighed angrily. Sue Gee Ko came back in with Shizumaru's clothes in
her arms, she laid them on the bed for him and said,
" The blood stain was a little hard to get out, but I got most of it." Shizumaru picked up his shirt and looked
where the blood was. Sure enough the blood stain was almost completely gone. " Can I least know your
name?" she asked hopefully.
" My name is...um, Yoshi." he said nervously.
" Then it's nice knowing you Yo-" before she could finish a voice interrupted their conversation.
" Hey! Hey! Is anyone in there?" yelled a voice from outside. Shizumaru knew who it was, [ Those damn
reporters!]. Sue Gee Ko walked out of the room and went outside to see who was making all the noise.
Shizumaru eavesdropped on their conversation.
" Can I help you with something?" Sue Gee Ko's voice came.
" Yes, We're looking for a boy with red hair, he goes by the name of Shizumaru Hisame. Have you seen him?"
he asked Sue Gee Ko.
[Oh great, she'll tell him that I'm here DAMN IT!!!] Shizumaru thought angrily.
" I don't believe that I've seen him before." replied Sue Gee Ko." Are you sure?" he asked making sure that
she wasn't lying. She nodded then before he left she said " Wait a minute! I think I've seen him near Sakura No
Han'a High School."
" Really!? Thanks!" he said happily then ran down the concrete stairs.
[What?? She didn't tell him that I was here?] Shizumaru thought as she entered the temple. [Why?] he asked
himself. Sue Gee Ko entered the bed room. " What did he want?" Shizumaru asked as he sat on the bed all
read to leave.
" He's looking for someone named Shizumaru Hisame. Do you know anybody named Shizumaru, Yoshi-kun?"
Shizumaru swallowed hard
"No, I don't think so." not looking at her.
" Well, theirs your umbrella," she sighed.
" And my sword?" asked Shizumaru as he picked up the umbrella.
" It's in the other room, I'll be back in a minute." Sue Gee Ko said as she left the room once again.
[Maybe I should stay, she's been so nice to take care of me. No, I can't I have to find the person responsible for
my mothers death. But if I go, those freakin' reporters or something else might get me. What should I do
...think... Maybe I should.....] he was interrupted by Sue Gee Ko as she returned with his sword in her hands.
She handed it to him. He looked at the sword, as the light hit the sword he saw the shadowy figure and he herd
he mother's scream once more. Shizumaru shut his eyes tight and griped his sword tighter.
" Yoshi-kun..." Sue Gee Ko said quietly with a line of worry on her for head.
" Sue Gee Ko-san, may I stay here for a couple days." Shizumaru asked not looking at her.
" You may stay as long as you like Yoshi-kun," she replied with a lighter tone in her voice. " I will prepare the
guest room for you." she finished then left the room.
[Now, I have to remember that she only knows me as Yoshi not Shizumaru. Then I must think like him, be
Yoshi.] he thought.
