Do you see that flower there?
Its beauty is captured forever,
As fresh and clear as it first opens.
While it may wither and fade away,
But its memory shall remain forever within me.

Do you see that single drop of rain there?
Right on the smooth surface of the glass.
It sparkles like a single diamond,
Only to vanish in the blink of an eye,
But my mind's eye has already seen it.

Do you see this scenery around you?
The sun out and shining brightly,
The wind a gentle and cool companion,
The grass stirring slightly as if awoken,
And the single voice of a bird that sings.

Do you see the fallen form before you?
Once where there was light, now darkness,
Once where there was purity, now tainted,
Once where there was innocence and youth,
Now full of wisdom; a deep, fathomless spirit,
Full of beauty and grace.

The flower may wither,
The rain my vanish with the rising sun,
And the breeze may flow like a stream,
Or billow and lash out like a raging storm,
And those of grace may fall.
But forever, always, shall the image of one fallen,
Burn as brightly as a flame.

For no matter what happens,
No matter that he is no longer able to grace the heavens and the stars,
He shall forever remain a timeless memory,
Of grace, beauty, innocence, and wisdom.
