About the Celtic Culture Webring and What's Included in It
My webring is geared at any kind of Celtic site, be it a page on Irish dance, Irish tourist guides, Scottish names, Welsh language, whatever. To be fair to everyone (I believe in the Christian belief of not discriminating against other people and their ideals) I even take some Pagan/Wiccan sites into my ring. I do not in any way support their beliefs (I am not a Pagan) nor do I look down on them in any sort of way. They're people too! But you have to understand, whether you like it or not, Druids and Wiccans really are a part of Celtic culture too (the original Celts were pagans!) So if you do not want to be in a ring with some of these sites I will implore you not to join my ring. (End of my speech.)

The guidelines for my page are simple. You don't have to email me when you've added the code to your page because I won't add it in if you do. The webring lets me know when people have valid HTML for the code on their pages - and when they don't. I would prefer your pages have the webring code on the front page but if you're part of many that's not possible. And that's where this next part comes into play. . . .

Another thing is that I allow you to have the code on a separate webring page from the main page but you must have the webring information you fill out (below) go to that page. Some webring pages are very hard to find and that totally defeats the purpose of the webring code. I also suggest having a very obvious link back to your main page on the webring page so people coming from your rings can find their way to it. Thanks for your cooperation!

There isn't too much more. Well your page has to be in at least some form of completion. You may not be completely finished when you submit it, say you plan on adding more, but your site must have some kind of content to check out when you submit your page. I will check that when you send your site ID after I've asked for it. If you don't I will ask you to withdraw from the queue until your page is more completed.

Once you have all that straight you have nothing to worry about! I look forward to seeing your page in the ring!

Here's what the new HTML code for the ring looks like (this is what you put on your page):

HTML for Celtic Culture Webring

Don't worry about how you get the code. When you submit your site to the queue, it will automatically appear customized for your site (with your site ID inserted.) It's simple that way. And if you ever need to edit your site info you can log in below to do so (at the very bottom of the page.)

DON'T EMAIL ME TO TELL ME THAT YOU'VE ADDED THE WEBRING CODE TO YOUR PAGE. IF THE CODE HAS BEEN INSERTED CORRECTLY YOU WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE MOVED INTO THE WEBRING. IT MAY TAKE A WHILE BUT YOU WILL BE ADDED. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

PLEASE READ! I would very much appreciate if people applying for ring membership after July 8, 1999 would download the webring picture and insert that URL into their code for the graphic to show. It will make things a lot faster to load and easier on me and you! And also if you current ring/queue members read this and haven't placed the code on your pages already PLEASE download the picture and upload into your directories. Thank you for your cooperation!

If you receive an email telling you that you've been removed from the queue DON'T PANIC! You can always reapply. It's just if you've been in there very long and haven't added the code I want you out so other sites who add the code can actually make it into the ring. If you still want to be in, readd your site to the queue and you'll get in! Thanks so much!
