INFINTY'S PHOTO LOG

Welcome to INFINITY's photo log. SORRY NOT MANY PHOTOS YET

INFINITY

Actually she was "Hide-A-Weigh" when this was taken right after we stole - I mean bought - her.

INFINITY in Newport Harbor (10/24/99)

This was taken by Debi off a pier. We were trying to get a good picture for the cover of Newports 2000 Leukemia Cup brochure. Too bad there wasn't much wind that day.

Cliock here for a great picture of us going windward on INFINITY during the 99 Leukemia Cup race. This one was taken by a boatpix helicopter and is the one we ended up using for the 2000 Leukemia Cup brochure.
Use your own "back" button to get back here.

Haven't had a chance to get any more INFINITY pics in yet. Until then you can view some scanned photos of my previous boats:

AQUA-KNAT - Aquacat (LOA:12 feet)

Our first sailboat. I traded a reel to reel tape recorder for her. I made that sail myself. Only catamaran that couldn't possibly fly a hull. The pontoons were filled with open cell foam that gained about 50 pounds every season.

The HOBBIT O-Day Mariner (LOL: 19 feet)

The Hobbit, named after J.R.R. Tolkiens creatures- small but powerful and tricky. Yea, I know my shroads were too loose but I was trailer sailing at the time and probably was to lazy to fine tune.

Lucky Lady Hunter-25 (LOL: 25 feet)

Named after my wife and her uncanny luck with scratch tickets that helped us to purchase Lucky Lady. For an interesting story about L.L. with photos go HERE. Just checked that site and it seems that the pictures aren't working anymore. That proberbly good since she's for sale. Thats Chris standing up waving . He was about 12 then.

Shields #29 (LOL: 30 feet)

This ones not mine. I also rent boats from the Navy Mariner in Newport (Rhodes-19s, Ensigns, and Shields) This is the boat I raced one year. Never did that good (tough fleet), but had a lot of fun. First race was interesting; I went off on a wind shift on the first leg and beat the whole fleet to the first mark. For a brief moment we thought we were pretty hot. Then we almost ran ashore trying to get the chute up. Hit a boat on the downwind mark. Did my turns and finished last.

INFINITY Catalina-30 (LOL: 30 feet)

Did you notice tha patten New boat every 6 years with length increments of
12' to 19' (+7')
19' to 25' (+6')
25' to 30' (+5')
Looks like I'm looking at a 34' boat in 2003. Not likely unless, I hit the lottery or can convince Debi to sell our house and live aboard when I retire. Yea, like that's going to happen.
