Trey Parker, co-creator of SouthPark, is all over this movie-singer, songwriter, director, screenwriter, actor, all over. Other SP co-creator, Matt Stone, also stars in the film.
It is based on the true, yet really fucked up, story of Alfred Packer, and his Donner- party like experiences when he gets trapped with a few traveling companions(a.k.a. lunch) in the Colorado mountains.
The film has a very wondrous nature to it. You wonder how the fuck all these songs are ever gonna get out of your head!
The songs are great, and suit the elements of the film well; serious or comedic, the song works great, and will make you smile. Maybe even sing along.
You will sing these songs in the shower. It is fate. Don't fuck with fate. See the movie. Love the movie. Sing the songs.
