Review time!

Uh, sorry for not updating recently guys, I have a really big project underway(won't jinx it by saying what it is, but I'm sure Pixie knows what I am talking about), so I haven't been able to review for a while. I'll make up for it.

Redneck Zombies is my personal favorite Troma film. It is made by a man who grew up being a Troma fan, Pericles Lewnes. Lewnes used this movie to break into Troma, becoming a special effects supervisor for many Troma films, and eating worms while dressed as Kabukiman in Sgt Kabukiman, NYPD.

A family of rednecks uses a toxic waste barrel as a still for their moonshine, and the laughs flow in!

One of my favorite things about Redneck Zombies is the 1980s vibe eminating from within. While this film was made in '87, it has great "slogan" T-shirts, such as "Same shit, different day!" and "Music is my bag!".

Also, there is the humor. From the gay redneck, Billy Bob, aka Ellie May, to the piss jokes that make us all laugh, the sense of humor is very Tromatic.

The Horror of the film is the best. It is simply one of the most gory movies I have seen, and is a great party movie. Gross the people out with the gore, make them laugh with the humor, and BAM, room full of instant Troma fans. THEY WILL WANT MORE.

The film is easy enough to find, in its Directors Cut, collectors edition packaging, with a great intro from a politically correct Redneck Zombie...er, don't call him a zombie, that's a very, very mean and nasty thing to call a member of the undead.

my next review will come VERY soon,
Stay toxieriffic,
Sir C.F. Nielsen, Esquire.
