--->It starts with a Shane/Corporation intro of Vince McMahon, who comes out to the "No Chance In Hell" song. Vince, "I'm going to Wrestlemania! I came, I saw, I kicked Stone Cold's ass!" I wasn'tthe only total and absolute winner... someone made Mankind scream "I quit." Just to show my appreciation, Rock, since you came down and saw me throw Stone Cold Steve Austin over, tonight, the $100,000 is going to you in cash. However, a reliable source told me you didn't get much rest last night (asshole chant) You were out celebrating last niggt... but I was told you woke up in a cold sweat because it dawned on you that at Wrestlemania, you'll be defending against Vince McMahon. Rock, don't be intimidated because last night, I signed and filed papers removing me as number one contender. However, I reserve the right to name the person you'll be facing at Wrestlemania. Austin, see, I told you you had no chance in hell of winning the Royal Rumble. Frankly, you'll never step in the ring with a WWF champion or myself-- you've run out of chances."
Stone Cold appears in the Titantron. He's in Texas.
Vince: "Aren't you the guy I threw over the top rope?"
Stone Cold: "I'm going to Wrestlemania"
Vince: "You're going to buy a ticket?"
Stone Cold:"No, you dumb son of a bitch, I'm going."
etc, etc, Shawn appears on the Titantron. "I'm healing well, aren't I? Stone Cold, mi casa, su casa. What's Stone Cold Steve Austin doing in my home? He doesn't need protection, but I'm going to protect SCSA from his corporation and himself. If he were in the building, believe me, he's open a can of whup ass on you... but anyway, you filed the papers and you plan on appointing replacement- that ain't gonna happen while HBK is commissioner. We've been reading the official rulebook, and it says if the winner of the Royal Rumble is unable or unwilling to go to Wrestlemania, the runner-up will go. When you filled out the papers, you checked yourself out of the main event and checked Stone Cold in.
etc etc. Austin then challenges McMahon to a cage match at Valentine's Day Massacre PPV, where the title shot at WM is on the line. McMahon accepts and Austin guarantees he'll kick McMahon's ass all over the ring.
---> armoured truck arrives at the arena.
---> Goldust vs Billy Gunn (w/HHH and Chyna)
HHH grabs the mic and challenges The Rock to an "I quit" match later in the show for the title. Then the match starts. Doesn't go very long, and when Goldust is thrown out of the ring by Billy, Bluedust (yay) makes an appearance, with head, and Billy gets the win. I can tell already, this is the kind of Raw that sets up angles through WM.
---> Mankind arrives at the arena.
--->Oddities to the ring... Rock then comes out and kicks them out, telling them to show some respect for the champ. They leave, and he accepts HHH's challenge, adding that HHH would never have beaten the Rock if it weren't for Chyna helping out in the past.
---> Mankind is looking for Socko, when he beats up the armoured truck guards and steals the $100,000. He then makes his way to the ramp: "Give a nice round of applause to Rock- he's got my belt. Oh, but also give me a hand... I've got his money. That outfit looks terrible... (he starts to toss money from the bag into the crowd) Rock, one step further, and I'll throw it all. I feel like I was hit in the head with a chair about eleven times, I guess I was. I feel like my head had been split open, I guess I had, I feel like I've been damn near elctrocuted, i guess I was... I may have been unconscious, but I do not remember saying "I Quit". Either I've completely lost my mind, or I never said it. Let's start with Sunday Night Heat and a verbal exchange with Shane McMahon. (tape of Mankind speech) Why did Shane say thanks? Let's go to the match (tape of match) You couldn't get me to say those words. And yet here, even though I was unconscious, I was speaking pretty well for a guy that was unconscious. What the hell? Do you think these people are stupid? Don't the words sound identical? I didn't say it, you didn't win (throws some money into the crowd) There will be millions and millions of bored people during the halftime of the big game. I want a rematch at halftime heat. But not just any rematch- no people in the arena. Just you, me and 23,000 empty seats. One walks out the champ, one gets his ass beaten all over an empty arena. I'll give you the moneybut I think it will be a couple of dollars short because Socko is going on a shopping spree... (throws some more money) Rock accepts the match.
---> Droz vs George The Animal Steele
I love seeing Droz, but any match against the Oddities is a joke. IT's over quick, with Droz hitting George's head into his own exposed turnbuckle. He then keeps beating on George and the Oddities come out. Nice to see Droz out of LOD clothes and makeup, as well. Hopefully that angle will die hard and fast.
---> Shamrock/Bossman drink drinks to avoid being attracted to Debra, as given to them by Paterson/Brisco. Debra is being hit on by Mark Henry.
---> Shamrock/Bossman vs Owen Hart/Jeff Jarrett (Tag titles)
While it's good the belts changed hands, why have a "fan non-favourite" vs "fan non-favourite?" Owen/Jarrett won with interference from a new blue blazer, this time, a black man. I have no idea who it was.
--->Shane McMahon calls Kane out and makes him apologise for his behaviour around the corporation of late. He makes him get on one knee, then both. XPac comes out, chases away the stooges and Shane and offers Kane a spot in DX. Kane chokeslams XPac, and gets him in a corner so Shane can deliever a bronco buster.
--->PMS make D'lo buy maxi pads. I want to see D'lo in the ring!
--->Val Venis shows off his new movie, "Sister act" featuring Ken Shamrock's sister. She's pretty. I wonder of she has any in-ring ability, the most important question to ask when a female joins any fed.
---> Val Venis vs Test
Match is decent, though Test still has not grown on me in the least. Shamrock comes out and hits Val Venis with a chair, Test gets the win. Shamrock and test team on Val, but Billy Gunn gets them out of the ring. Val thinks Billy hit him with the chair, and attacks Billy. I see a triple threat for the IC title- Sham vs Billy vs Val.
---> Roaddogg and Al Snow vs Gangrel and Edge (HC tag match)
Damn cool match. Teaming Al and Roaddogg was great. they waited at the side of the stage and shot Edge/Gangrel with fire extinguishers when they did their ring of fire entrance. The match went backstage with all sorts of props... a box of silverware, tables, poles, etc. It was pretty intense. Gangrel is good at these matches. It ended with all four going through a table when Bluedust showed up and gave Al his head back. Roaddogg got the pin.
---->Roaddogg and Al Snow interview... they think they did a great job. Al wants a rematch for the title, as he's the crown prince of hardcore. They agree to a best 2/3 hardcore match, which I expect to be great. Roaddogg rocks in HC matches. Anyone who didn't believe me when I said he had a LOT of potential can now eat me. ;) The Acolytes show up and attack Roaddogg and Al Snow.
---> Undertaker starts talking and... USA cuts to commercial. Is this them editing the show? if so, I'm quite annoyed and it leaves a worse taste in my mouth than ANYTHING the wwf could have come up with. I don't care how much I hate the angle- I want to see the whole show.
---> HHH vs the Rock (World title, I quit match)
Nicely done. These two put on a hell of a fight, as always. HHH starts pedigreeing Rock all over the place when Team Corporate comes down and Kane grabs Chyna. He's about to chokeslam her when HHH says "I quit" to save her. He goes to her side, and tries to challenge Kane... Chyna then Low blows HHH, and Team Corporate beats on him... and Chyna is now... corporate? I would like to officially say wtf is that about?
