Penpals
There was once a girl named Susan. She met a boy named Michael on the internet. They were penpals for a long time, and one day, she suggested that they meet in Chicago. They set the date, time, and place, but Micheal realized that he had no idea what this girl looked like! So she said that she would wear a blue hat, blue dress, blue everything.
On the day they were to meet, Micheal hurried. He was anxious to see what this girl looked like. When he got there, he was disappointed. There was a girl dressed in blue alright--an ugly girl. He started to turn away, when he thought, "This isn't right. I should at least say hi to her. Perhaps she is just as excited to meet me as I was to meet her." But before he could do anything, the girl walked up to him.
"Are you Michael?" she asked.
"Yes, I am," He responded.
"What's going on here? Some girl gave me these clothes and some money and told me to stand here. Am I on Candid Camera or something?" she said, confused.
Just then, a beautiful girl walked out. "Thank you ma'am," she said to the woman. Then, turning to Michael, she shook his hand and greeted him, "Hello, I'm Susan. I'm sorry for all this confusion, but all of my past boyfriends dated my looks, not me. I wanted to see if you were like that too."
"Really?! I almost missed my chance of meeting you! When I saw her, I almost turned back, but then changed my mind!" exclaimed Michael.
Susan and Michael became close friends, and to this day, are living happily ever after.
