The water is so blue
Someone jumping in might have no clue
What dangers it will hold
Only in the stories Grandparents have told
Monsters bigger than life
They can gobble up a whole fief
Not caring is someone is there
They eat them, too but spit out their hair
The water looks so inviting
But in different lighting
It looks deep and dark
In the distance there is a shark
Daylight doesn't allow this scene
But by moonlight the ocean looks mean
