In my opinion, Tamora Pierce is the greatest author ever. She has written three quartets (Song of the Lioness, The Immortals and Circle of Magic), all of which are exciting, with believable characters and great female protagonists! She is the one and only Queen of Fatasy, she's inspired people everywhere in the world. She is also working on two other quartets, Protector of the Small and The Circle Opens, which, so far, are great!
