Chapter 2

Malopia waited impatiently as Fiona chose some ugly-looking dresses.

- Does it have to be pink, Fiona? - First off, pink is very lady-like, and second it is considered rude to call an adult by his or hers first name! You shall call me Aunt Fiona, but not Fiona! Have you heard me? Malopia, where you listenign to me?

- Uh, yeah yeah..

Actually Malopia was staring at a man, that looked strangely familiar:

- George! You've come back!

She rushed outside and gave him a hug.

- Malopia! Come back here!

Fiona walked quickly outside and grabbed Malopia.

- Excuse me, Sir, this child is quite impertinent.

- Oh, no not Sir, George. And Malopia is a good girl when she wants to be. I heard the bad news, Mally. I'm so sorry. But you could come and spend some time with me when you're bored! And your father was a good man. I chose the right man to be the Rogue. Well, I'll have to go. See you Mally.

George patted her on the cheek and left.

- Who was that man anyway? And don't rush off like that! Right when I was talking to you! You really need to be educated!

- It was George, Aunt Fiona, you know, the former Rogue?

Fiona dropped her jaw a bit and stared at George who was slipping into the shadows.

- Well you could have told me earlier! Let's go back in the shop!
