Endless Circle was a complicated place, that was built as though someone was trying to be organized, but didn’t do that good a job at it. There were mainly four groups of buildings. There were towers, houses, and cottages bunched into the four different sections. The four sections belonged to four different mages, Water, Air, Fire, and Earth, since Endless was dedicated to the Elements. The only differences about the four spaces, was that there was a smallish lake in the Water Mage’s section, countless trees and plants in the Earth Mage’s section, making it somewhat like a forest. Then the Fire Mages and Air Mages didn’t have anything different, with the exception of many more towers, and much higher, for the Air Mages. In the middle of it all, was a huge building, where all four elements could meet and the students learned.
Anyia thought she was to be put in the dorm like building with the rest of the magical students, but instead was boarded up with Mossflower in her own little cottage, hidden under a mass of tall weeping willows that Anyia loved. She didn’t have to be with the other girls much, which was a blessing since her rude and simply strange, and she thought them as boring as toads. Or cows too I suppose, I can’t think of which is more boring. Anyway, she had stayed there two weeks, and liked it immensely. Since she could be herself again and hadn’t thought about Sarcrius or her past since her trip there.
She had done a bit of magic, which surprised her a lot the first time it happened, since she still was convinced she didn’t have any. She had been climbing one of the weeping willows, because she wanted to see through it’s thin, wavy veil of leaves and try meditating, which was the only thing she had been learning up until then. Leaning too far over one branch of the tree, she had slipped and fallen to the ground, but somehow she didn’t reach the ground. The thin bendy branches had caught her in midair, and she was covered in a bundle of leaves, before Mossflower had run and got her out of the mess. Since then, she had started to learn magic.
