The story
While Fortunado tries to help Kismet with her
confusion, Blackwell becomes angry and banishes her
from the secret room. As Kismet stumbles away, she
sees visions of the four that are one. Bewildered and
dizzy, she finds her way into a hall of mirors that
reflect her disturbing visions and lonely childhood.
Eventually the images overwhelm her and she goes into
a rage and she shatters the tormenting mirors - with
that her grip on reality fragments.
My review
This issue is part 2 of smoke and mirrors and Kismet
is going deeper into the psycho circus in this one.
I thought this issue was very good, I liked all the
stuff that was going on with kismet in the hall of
mirors wich has a very cool name-"a maze to amaze".
The first one she looks into she sees a little girl,
not even realizing that it is her from her child
hood.The second one she sees her self in a white gown
in a rest in peace pose(you know the pose- you see it
on the deceased at funerals while they lay in their
casket with their hands on together on their chest).
Cool stuff. Again she sees her self all covered with
magets and all coroded. Freaky! Next thing ya know
Kismet freaks out and smashes a miror and thats when
we find out more about her parents death and her
suicide"attempt" with a razor blade. The next thing
that happens is that she comes apon a looking glass
miror a portal to another world- she takes a look
through and sees four men from in gothic clothing and
kiss face paint toasting to the end of the world-.
thats the end of the issue- Talk about leavin ya in
suspence.
The Art
Another awesome art job by Medina and Conrad- and
Brian Haberlin , Dan Kemp and Andy Troy did great
with the color as well. My favorite pages are 4and5
,9and10, 15, 22and23.great stuff. The cover was OK
but it isnt great. I prefer Medina and conrads art
more than this Golden guy.
