Another awesome Comic book. The story was good, I especially like the fact that in the end of the comic you are led to belive that Adam chose to let his father die when they show Adam at a grave yard tomb stone. On the next page we learn he is at his sisters grave and that he spared his father so that he wouldnt be just like him.
I also thought that when Adam saw his father all beat up and realized that all the bruises that were on his father were all bruises he him self had recieved from his father over the course of his whole life was a rather good concept and it was eirie too-"the doctors had a fancy name for it, massive sub-dermal hemorhaging, or something like that. but i understood what really hapened. I recognized every last one. The time I got smacked for spilling glue on the carpet, the time I cried 'cause there were no christmas gifts again, all the times I snuck in late. Every blow, every shove, every kick- they were all there on him, all at once.Damn that must have hurt!".
Another cool thing I liked was there is the phrase "childhoods end" some where in the comic ,being said by the demon to Adam, and we all know childhoods end is a song from Carnival of souls. Cool how the writer would add stuff like that for the fans, you might have even missed it if you are not a die hard fan.
Some random things to say about the comic: Again not much kiss in this comic- Kiss are there but not the main focus and they are not cheesy superhero musicians-they are represented in Image only and they are very mystical beings- Actually I like it better this way.The marvel stuff that portrayed kiss as super heroes I couldnt even read.It sucked that bad to me. These comics seem more grown up to me, more aimed at adults than the Marvel stuff. These seem to be short stories with a twilight zone feel to 'em.
