Sparkle laid in the hospital bed and around her was Taylor and Eric each holding a hand of hers. Taylor was in tears, and Eric just looked at Sparkle with an expression on his face saying... Sorry. Taylor thought about what happened. The face expression had as she fell, ran over and over again through his mind. He stoped crying and looked up at Eric.
"Eric... What if she lost the baby?" He said quietly and in a worried voice.
"I don't know. I'm still shocked of the fact that she was pregnant..."
"Was?" Taylor looked at Eric. It looked as if Eric was pretty sure she lost the baby, but just too afraid to admit it. Then the docter came in.
"Docter how is she???" They both asked in unison.
"Where's the father of Sparkle?"
"He's in Florida on a business trip."
"Who is the legal guardian then?" The docter asked.
"Our nana. But she's at home. Did she lose the baby?" The docter game Eric a face expression that assured to him that he did.
"Let's go outside and discuss this." Taylor and Eric both followed him outside.
"I regret to inform you that Sparkle has lost the baby." Taylors heart ached the moment he heard those words. He dropped to the ground. Eric was just stunned and sat down on the chair.
"The hit was right on her spine. Sparkle is okay, but..."
"We get it!" Eric said.
"Thank you for everything." Eric finished. The docter left. Then moments later... LizBeth came running to them.
"HOW'S SPARKLE????" She asked worried. Taylor cried more and Eric laughed a bit.
"Oh my God..." LizBeth took the hint.
"Is Sparkle okay? How did she take it??" LizBeth looked at Taylor. Eric and Taylor were in silence. Taylor was too upset to talk. And as for Eric he looked as if he were going to go crazy in two seconds. LizBeth ran inside the room to Sparkle. She was awake and looking at the ceiling. Sparkle turned her head and looked at LizBeth. Sparkle smiled... It surprised LizBeth.
"Hi LizBeth.." Sparkle greeted.
"Sparkle... Are you okay?"
"Oh my and my baby are fine." Sparkle said assuring. LizBeth let out two tears. It occurred to her that Sparkle didn't know that she had lost the baby.
"I have to tell you something LizBeth.. About Taylor."
"What?" LizBeth followed along.
"He was acting like a total jerk about the whole pregnancy thing.. He told me he didn't believe me that the child is his. He thinks it's someone elses. He won't accept the responsibility that the child is his.." LizBeth looked up at Sparkle and got really mad as she heard what Sparkle was saying.
"What?!" LizBeth was mad.
"I guess he doesn't want the baby. But Zac.."
"Wait! That fucken jerk won't recognize that baby was his...???!" LizBeth yelled to her.
"Was??" Sparkle changed her face expression and tone of voice.
"I mean..." LizBeth tried to change her story, but judging my Sparkles face and reaction, she knew she wouldn't believe if she changed her story around.
"LizBeth... My baby is gone huh?" Sparkle said letting tears run down. LizBeth started crying. Sparkle looked at her and let out a loud yell.
"I LOST MY BABY!!" Sparkle yelled and yelled. Taylor and Eric ran inside.
"Sparkle calm down!" Taylor yelled to her. LizBeth looked at him and her eyes filled with anger.
"YOU FUCKEN JERK!!!!!" LizBeth jumped to him causing both of them to fall, LizBeth on top of him. LizBeth hit his face continously and then got up and started kicking him.
"HOW YOU FUCKEN DO THIS TO SPARKLE AND THEN DENY THE FACT THAT THE BABY WAS YOURS!!! YOU FUCKEN JERK! I HATE YOU!! I HATE YOU!!!" LizBeth was filled with rage of anger and was letting it all out on Taylor. Eric ran and wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her back to the hallway. Taylor tried to recover. He was bloody all over his face.
"Are you okay Taylor?" Sparkle asked trying to get up.
"I'm fine... I mean it's only my second beating today." Taylor laughed a bit at his joke.
"Besides, I deserve it."
"Taylor come here." Sparkle opened her arms to him and walked over to her. They hugged. Sparkle was comforted by it. And so was Taylor. The second they started hugging, Zac walked in. Zac looked at both of them, and came down to the idea that Sparkle had forgiven Taylor and Taylor had agreed to the fact the baby was his. It was rational, the baby was his.. they needed to be together. Zac got mad and then ran outside. He looked at Eric and LizBeth, and started crying.
"Zac what's wrong?" LizBeth asked.
"Taylor and Sparkle are together..." Zac cried on LizBeths shoulder.
"What?" LizBeth asked furiously.
"Calm down girl!" Eric said. LizBeth calmed and then tried to do the same with Zac.
"It's okay. I'm leaving soon. That's all I wanted to say. I guess. Hanson is going to make the new album and then we're off the world tour for one full year..."
"Oh my god.. " LizBeth said.
"No more hurt. NO more bullshit. No more Sparkle." Zac said as he wiped off the last tears that ran down his face.
"You can't be serious Zac."
"Oh I'm dead serious."
"Zac, Sparkle lost the baby." Zac looked at LizBeth.
"What? Then why are Taylor and her hugging?"
"I don't know, but that's besides the point."
"LizBeth you don't get it do you?" Zac looked at her with a hurt face.
"I'm tired of going through all this confusement with Sparkle. I love her. I guess that's why I need this distance from her. It will do both of us good. I'm tired of always getting hurt. My heart can't be broken so many times..." Zac paused and swallowed hard before the next words escaped his mouth.
"I need to say goodbye to Sparkle...for good."
