a liverlover
Hello all visitors!
My name is Tobias Strandh and my interest in livers started in 1996
when I got my first RR from kennel Emoyenis.
He is called Cassius (Emoyenis Ruddy Hurricane Boy) and he was
reserv BISS-Liver on the Swedish Speciality in 1997 and BISS-Liver in1998!
In years I have noticed that judges in general donīt see the livernosed ridgeback
as a "real" ridgeback, complains like "...lack of pigment" dont benifite the breed!
The things I have read about livers is that they contribute with good coat and beatiful
colour to litters and itīs a shame that they sometimes are classed as "-...second class ridgebacks".
One of my hopes with this site is that future owners will see more of livers and can come to want
to have a liver of their own!
This can make breeders look to livers as an aset in future breeding and hopefully we will see some
more liverowners in future shows!
To you liverowners, dont quit showing because of what one or two judges told you about your dog!
Show them that the livernosed RR is a real Rhodesian Ridgeback!
