| THE AMAZING ADVENTURES OF DONKEY KONG AND FRIENDS THROUGH TIME AND SPACE - CHAPTER THREE; PART FIVE - "DONKEY KONG GOES TO THE SHOPS | |||||||
|
By Waddle Dedede: Previously on The Amazing Adventures of Donkey Kong and Friends Through Time and Space: "I'm about to destroy the crystal of truth" exclaimed Donkey as he slowly unravelled the wire. Dennis was uneasy "Shouldn't we hurry up Donkey Kong - we haven't much ti--"... Suddenly, a loud bang occurred outside the citadel... It was the rangers... They had returned from Packard Town, and were armed with BM6-Ds... The door was quickly knocked open, and they were ready to fire... "I really think this could be the end!" exclaimed Donkey Kong, as he took a step back in fear... And now, the next instalment... The evening was quiet in Sloughton - quite a surprise considering the enormous risk taken by the General the previous week. The residents were fast asleep, and the entire village was in peace... Or at least they would have been, were it not for the fact that seconds after the clock chimed seven o' clock, the ground began to tremble, violently... Donkey Kong had survived a lucky escape from Glucagons guards, and was able to reach the south path without the slightest thought as to where he was going, why he was going there or where Reginald was. The ground was rough - hard to walk on - especially for someone who'd spent almost a lifetime in an ice cube. Nevertheless, there was determination in the feet of our hero, and he plodded on. "I'm going to take the main walkway" informed Donkey Kong. Howard starred at the ape "But... Donkey Kong - that place is under surveillance by the Sangerites and the Krotuns - we'd never get past the main bars!". Donkey Kong seemed untroubled. "It's okay - trust me - I think I know what to do" he responded reassuringly and with little hesitation. Stodt was alone. The chambers of Hullington Sturp were endless, and escape, it seemed, was growing increasingly more unlikely. Suddenly, he heard a voice "Show yourself" it said. He didn't know what to do. Before he could make a response, the lights went out. The area became black as a cloudy night sky... Donkey Kong was about to release the main pump before entering the dome when John ran up to him "Stop!" he yelled... "It's a trap! The main drive has already been connected! If you release now, we could all be destroyed!" It was too late. Donkey Kong couldn't stop the chain reaction... The smoke began to rise and the structures below them were starting to shimmer. "Not again!" yelled Donkey Kong as the dimensional vortex began to close in on itself... To be continued... In that episode, Donkey Kong was played by Michael Dimpton; Laurie, Murton and The TOS were played by Torsten Slet; and the Photogonic Robot, Richard, M.A.C.E. and Third Atom Guard were played by Sterril Morten'kf. Incidental music and special sound was by Patrick Kindle of the CBD Stereophonic Warehouse. The show was written by Burton Robbins and produced by Lort "The Smort" Bort. Eating lemons before breakfast is advised by nine out of ten good Portichologists. |
