This is a Majestic Model 70. It was for sale locally for $40, but the guy selling it chiseled me out of another $6 for the center knob. The entire cabinet had delaminated and needed re-glued. This is the heaviest radio you could imagine. You can see the front veneer was shot and needed replaced. There is a small piece of molding underneath the speaker that was a bear to replace; it was only a small piece of half round, but you can't buy it locally and to mail order it was cost prohibitive. I wound up taking a dowel and running it through the router to get the right size.
This is my after picture. Notice the (bigger) hole in the grill cloth that my youngest decided to make for me. I need to add the knobs, especially since I got chiseled for them.
