Tasty Taco Soup

• 1 lb. lean ground beef
• 1/4 cup sliced green onions
• 1 (1.25-oz.) pkg. taco seasoning mix
• 1 (28-oz.) can crushed tomatoes, undrained
• 1 c frozen corn
• 1 c water
• 2 oz. (1/2 c) finely shredded Cheddar cheese

Directions:

In large saucepan, brown ground beef until thoroughly cooked. Drain. Add onions and taco seasoning mix; cook 1 min.

Stir in tomatoes, corn and water. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer 10 mins.

To serve, ladle soup into serving bowls; top with cheese.
