Sirloin Tips with Mushrooms

Directions:

In a large skillet, brown meat in butter and oil; transfer to a 2-quart baking dish.

In the same skillet, saute mushrooms and garlic until mushrooms are tender, about 3 mins. Pour mushrooms and liquid over meat. Cover and bake at 300 F (150 C) for 2 hours or until meat is tender.

In small bowl, combine mustard, cornstarch and cream; set aside.

In skillet, combine broth, vinegar, soy sauce and parsley; bring to a boil. Boil for 2 mins; stir in mustard/cream mixture, bring to a boil and cook 2 mins, stirring constantly. Drain juices from the baking dish into broth mixture. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until thickened and bubbly. Add beef mixture and combine well.

Serve over hot buttered noodles.

Makes 4 to 6 servings.
