Canadian Best Butter Tarts

Sift flour and salt, cut in butter or margarine with pastry cutter. Add water and\par mix with a fork. Gather up and wrap in plastic wrap and chill 30 mins.

Filling:

Preheat oven 350 F.

Beat eggs in bowl, gradually add sugar. Beat till light and fluffy.

Add salt, vinegar and maple syrup and butter. Mix till combined. Stir in nuts, raisins, dates.

Roll out dough. Line tart tins with dough. Fill 2/3 of the filling. Bake 25 to 30 mins till firm.
