the good news:
the schmits are back. Right now Willie and Adolf are doing some stuff down in Alabama but will be home in july at the latest so check in here for show postings in the future.
The bad news
Benny will not be playing bass with us, but i herd a rumor that a certain teabagger might find some time to play with us but nothing is for sure yet .

Most of you who check the message board already figured this out but the schmits are no longer together. Its been fun hopfully we will be seein yalls some time in the future. Oh ya we think it would be cool if you all keep on using the message board we'll keep you all informed on what we are all doing.

Hay there we got some bad news. Biff is no longer part of the schmits. It sounds bad but he is going to be doing other things so its all cool. We do have a new guitar player his name is Screed Moore. We also have a show this saturday the 13Th in our home town at the Jefferson Elementary school its to raise money for the school and its only five bucks so email us for directions. We will be posting updates on what Biff is doing soon so you can check that out to.

we're playing the nyabinghi club in youngstown march 15th(this coming friday)on libbys birthday with the lords of the highway. i think it starts at 10pm, be there no matter what. !

the show last night went GREAT!!! we played 3rd right after the fun machine. thanks a lot everybody for coming, that was a really good turnout. anywho, we'll probably be having a show sometime in early march so keep checkin back, good day.

its at the phantasy february 23rd at 9pm. the other bands are, the fun machine and johnny psycho and the switchblade rockers. it'll be cool. it should be cheap so save your allowance. see y'all there.

nothing much has been happening. we've been jamming around, writing some new songs...you know. we're trying pretty hard to get some shows set up but no luck right now. i think we decided that we're going to actually make a cd to sell for 15 dollars a piece with no covers or cd art. so if you want one send me like 30 dollars and that should be enough with shipping and whatnot. no really we're going to start recording on my computer this weekend and make little cds for everyone to enjoy. they'll be $1.99 so just catch us around at the vermin show february 15th(at the green room) or dick dastardlys show(at the agora) on, uh oh, i just checked and they're both the same night, dang. well, we'll be at both of em. email us at the_schmits@yahoo.com if you want a cd. or call us. alright, good night, wet dreams.

yesterday we played with the dick dastardlys, the broadview gutters, and some emo bands. the dastardlys put on an incredible show. there new drummer is really huge and hits hard,and thomas teabagger, kk nobody, and dirk ripped up on the stage. those guys are great. i also heard that the broadview gutters put on a great show. i had to go unfortunately but i heard they did really good.
we are going to be playing a show sometime in march with our good friends the dick dastardlys at the symposium. we dont have anything planned before that but we are trying to get a show sometime in february so keep checking back for updates on that one.
the schmits would also like to thank anyone that made it to the show last night and supported the bands. im sure all the bands had alot of fun and we hope you did too. thanks alot. benny

alright, so yesterday we got some pictures at libbys, nothing special just standing there. we're not going to put them up though, so i guess theres no reason for what i just told you. basically, we've been jamming at willie's house, taking adolf out of deep depression because he has no friends, and we're playing a show that should be GREAT(jan, 20th at peabodys, 6$ 6pm). dick dastardlys, broadview gutters, i heard some emo bands are playing, and some more bands. theres 12 bands all together. for everyone in school, the next day is martin luther king jr. day so there shouldn't be any school. we'll be playing 4 new songs. thats all, bye.

we have a new show on jan 20th at peabody's with the broadview gutters, the dick dastardlys, and a few more. the show starts at 6 o'clock and it's only six dollars. we have tickets to sell, but you can buy them at the dooor too. this show will definently be rockin. adolf will be there so have sex with him.

well, i don't know what happened but somehow this page got all screwed up. it's back to normal now, but all the older updates are gone. all you really need to know is that the schmits rocked out last night at the green room and if you weren't there you're gonna regret it later. i think that's it. libby
