Description (details & conditions):

This is one Very, Very, Nice, and Original 1964 Impala SS. It looks Great from 15-20 feet away, but there are some minor flaws. I am as HONEST as they come, and if you read on, you'll read about the minor flaws on this Classic. As far as I know, it has only had 2 owners other than the last two, who were dealers. This Impala was not rodded and was "Adult Owned" it's entire life. The speedometer shows 109,000 miles on it and I was told this to be original, however, I cannot document this. This is a great cruiser as is, but could use a little fixing up as you go. This Classic comes with a Complete newley rebuilt 327 c.i. motor, (I just had it rebuilt), Power Steering, Power Brakes, and Rare Electric Windows.

BODY...This is not a perfect show car body, but it looks very nice. There are no Major dents or rust. There is some body filler on the passenger door, and it even has a crack in it. You can also tell that there is some light body filler on the driver's side 1/4 panel. The car still looks great from just a short distance away.

PAINT...The Black clear coat shines just Super. However there is about 3 small blemishes on the trunk lid. I think that these could be sanded and buffed out though. There is also a couple of very minor chips on the driver's door edge.

CHROME/STAINLESS...The stainless and chrome is very nice. There are just a few small blemishes. It's not show quality, but it's good enough to make you proud to drive this classic.

BUMPERS...Over-all Very Good! The front bumper is in very nice condition. The back bumper has a very small dent, and a couple of small scatches.

GLASS...Almost excellent...there is just a small scratch on the driver's side door glass.

WEATHERSTRIPPING...This is the part of the car that needs some attention. There is no door weatherstripping on the doors. The window weatherstripping is cracked, and worn also. All of these replacement items are easily available.

ENGINE...BRAND SPANKING NEW!!! The motor had some problems when I bought it. (It was not represented properly). I felt I could not sell it in this condition, so we invested over $2200.00 in the 327 engine. The engine was bored .30 over and had a new Major rebuild kit. The engine was built in late Aug. '03, has about 100 miles on it. Mechanically it's an excellent investment.

CARBURATOR.... A New Edelbrock 750 CFM 4 barrel was installed.

TRANSMISSION....The 2-Speed power-glide was rebuilt before I purchased this Impala SS. It works just fine.

EXHAUST...The dual exhaust is in great shape!

BRAKES...The "Power Brakes" work excellent!

TIRES....The BF Goodrich Radial tires are like new.

WHEELS/HUBCAPS...The Original SS full wheel hubcaps are in excellent condition!

INTERIOR...The Original Saddle Tan interior is in super condition for being almost 40 years old. It does need a some detail work and cleaning. There are no kick panels in the car. It has a near perfect steering wheel, and a very nice console.

SEATS...The driver's seat has a couple of seam tears. The rest of the seat vinyl is in excellent condition, (needs some cleaning). It comes with front seat belts.

DOOR PANELS...They are in very good condition. They need some minor fastening to the doors. The fastening clips for the electric windows are not there, and the controls will come loose now.

HEADLINER...Excellent codition, but it might need some cleaning.

CARPET...Great shape, but it needs to be re-fastened in a couple of spots.

DASH...Very good condition. It has a couple of small spots on the left side metal.

INSTRUMENTS/ELECTRICAL...All of the guages and lights work as they should, except the dome light does not work.

RADIO...The Original AM radio works Great. There are 3 antennas on the car.

TRUNK...The nice original trunk has a baseball size hole on the left side of the trunk. (see picture) There is some other surface rust, but it's not major at all.

FRAME...The frame is in Great shape.

FLOOR...There are no majors issues with the floor, and, as far as I can tell, it's in great shape.

UNDERCARRIAGE...The under-side of the car has been undercoated.

RUST...The only visible rust is in the trunk, and that could be fixed easily. It looks very rust free!
