Description (details & conditions):

Just as many of the Classic Cars that I sell, this one is a project car and needs restoration. It does not run now, but I'm going to be working on it to get it running. It has the original 265 V8 and a 3-Speed transmission. The shifter has been transferred to the floor. The previous owner has purchased several new "reproduction flooe pans and complete inner & outer rockers.

BODY...The body is very straight. There are a few tiny dings, but over-all a great start to your "Dream Classic"

PAINT...I'm guessing the paint is 15 years old. It's in Fair condition and has many scratches, but it looks good from 25' away.

CHROME/STAINLESS...There is one piece of quarter trim that is not on the car. The stainless has a few small dings in it. The Bezels, Grille, Grille Bar, Emblems and Hood Bird are in Very Good driver quality condition.

BUMPERS...It comes with a front bumper, but the left side is bad. (see picture) The rear bumper is good driver quality, but the bumper guards are not good. Both bumpers need to be re-chromed.

GLASS...The previos owner owned a glass shop and he installed a New Windshield. The back window, quarter glass, rear windows, and vent windows are in nice condition. Both door windows have cracks.

WEATHERSTRIPPING...There is No weatherstripping on the car.

ENGINE...The original 265 V8 does not run, but I hope to get it running soon.

CARBURATOR...It has a 2 barrel carburator on it.

TRANSMISSION....I not sure how the transmission will work. I need to get it running to try it out.

EXHAUST...There are exhaust pipes and glass-pack mufflers on the car, but No tail pipes.

BRAKES...I'm sure the original drum brakes will need some work.

TIRES...Two tires went flat in my garage and the tires need to be repaired or replaced.

WHEELS/HUBCAPS...It comes with very nice GMC aluminun wheels.

INTERIOR...The interior needs lots of work. I have all of the garnish mouldings, but they are not installed.

SEATS...There is No front seat, and the re-upholstered rear seat is not installed.

DOOR PANELS...The panels were re-done in a thick crushed velvet and they need to be re-done again.

HEADLINER...It's original and has 3 tears about 6" long each.

CARPET...It has No carpet.

DASH...It's in Fair condition. The glove box door is off, but I have it. It has an after-market steering wheel.

INSTRUMENTS/ELECTRICAL...It's hard to tell if they work. I'll have to check them out when some work is done on the car.

RADIO...No radio...

TRUNK...The spare tire well is in good condition. The tail-gate has been cut into on the left side (see photo). The tail gate will need new cables or maybe new retractors.

FRAME...It has a very nice solid frame.

FLOOR...The floors have some rust. The previous owner puchased some reproduction floor pans and rocker panels. You'll have to buy a few more pieces to do the job right.

RUST...It has the usual floor brace rust and while re-doing the floor pans, it would be very wise to do the braces too. Afer the floor pans and braces are replaced, you'll have a very nice rust free car.
