Steve's Wishlist
This is an all-purpose wishlist. It's to help me remember where
to find the stuff I want as well as helping others with gift ideas.
  • RED = I want this a lot. I will probably buy it for myself soon.
  • YELLOW = I want this a lot. But it isn't my top priority. I might buy it a bit later.
  • GREEN = I want this a lot. But other needs are more pressing. Maybe I'll buy this eventually or if I find it on sale. (Hint: Greens make the best gifts.)

    I need more blanks. Although I'll take anything, I really need a batch of the high end media. I need Taiyo Yuden (only available online). I need DVD+R and DVD-R and CD-R.
  • Bamboo timbers
    • I'm looking for long (like 8 feet) bamboo poles that I can use like landscaping timbers to give the yard an eastern feel. Can't seem to find 'em.
  • Karaoke CDGs

    We just bought a low-end karaoke machine and we need songs to play on it. Check out all the stuff you can get at this link. Stuff for under $5 even! CAUTION: the material needs to be on a format called CDG or CD+G (not a plain cd or a dvd or a tape).

    The prices are cheapest at DeepDiscountDVD.com (and they don't charge shipping) but they don't have a viewable wishlist. So look at the Amazon list and check the prices at DDD. If Amazon Marketplace has even cheaper prices, go with them. Used is good!

    You can get these anywhere that's cheap and convenient. You might want to use the suggestions Rachel made (see section at right)or if you're shopping at a used cd store like CD Warehouse. If Amazon Marketplace has even cheaper prices, go with them. Remember: Used is good! Below are some samples from that list.

  • Pizza stone I don't know how expensive they are. Supposedly these make all the difference in homemade pizza baking.

  • New home phone So far, we've tried three different brands. Admittedly, they were cheap. But they all sucked. NOT one has lasted. I want whichever brand Consumer Reports recommends.

  • Cowboy boots I usually, almost always wear 7 and 1/2. I would like ones that are not too flashy, preferably brown with pointy toes, and not too high of a heel. The traditional looking ones.

  • New awesome digital camera I keep looking at different cameras. I don't know which one to buy. It has to recharge quickly. It has to have a GREAT lens. I liked the Sony Cybershot body that I have. I don't want a quickie, pocket-style camera. I was thinking about Nikon or Canon.



  • Graphire 4 Pen This is really expensive. It's a mouse and tablet that is used with a computer to draw . It's made by WaCom Tech. Last I saw it priced was $104.99.
  • Paper Couture™ Paper Jewelry Kits - Flying Mini Margarite, White Item # 80857 Price: USD $11.44 at this website: http://www.plaidonline.com/
  • Giant Robot magazine subscription- Gotta order this at their website.
  • Craft Magazine subscription
  • Built-in Bookcase- For my office. I honestly don't know how anyone can help me with this one, but I wouldn't mind if they could.
