This was a rare unreleased cassette that had a very hard to get Geddy Lee [Rush] solo appearance on a couple of tracks.

    Mendelson Joe is kind of a strange celebrity in Canada. He is a painter and musician known for being outspoken on his extreme political viewpoints. Unfortunately this sampling of his work really isn't very good. It's quirky folk music. Geddy plays bass on "Some Dumb Machine" and "I Nominate Dr. David", songs I added to my Rush - Artifacts 2 collection. But really the only decent song here is the comical "Hot Meal" which was used for the CBC TV show "Max Glitch".
