Terms of Service

The following terms have been written out by the webmistress, Nancy, for all matters
concerning this site. If I find that you have broken one of these rules, I will
e-mail you and give you 72 hours to fix what you have done wrong. If you do not respond or
will not change your mistake, I will e-mail your webservice provider and have them disconnect
your service. I am sorry to be harsh, but I will not allow my work to be stolen.

Regarding Doll Adoption...
First of all, I'm glad you like my dolls enough to want to use them or have them! You
can download dolls as long as you do not use it for the following things:

  • As a sig doll
  • As your avatar
  • On your site (without linking)
  • As a cross-stiching pattern
  • In your layout

You are welcome to print it out, put it on your desktop, show it to friends, and put it
up on your adopotions page (with my link below); basically you can do anything except reproduce
it and claim it as your own whether it be
    for an income or not.

Please do not display more than seven of my dolls on your site, I do not want a mirror site.
Please just take your favorites, and if you like some newer ones, reaplace the old ones.

Regarding my layout, graphics, and dolls...

None, I mean none, of my layout or graphics is to be reproduced. You may not take my
graphics or dolls, edit them, and then call them your own. You may not use any of my
graphics or layout on your site, even if you ask me first. Don't bother asking, I will say
"no". My dolls are free to adopt as long as you link me. Do not "frankendoll" them or edit them.
I do not want to see one of my doll's heads on your doll. This is my copyrighted material and I
will not allow you to abuse my rights.

    Regarding my bases...

You may use my bases to make dolls of your own. You may not put drag-n-drop heads on them
to replace the heads I have made for them. You may edit the bases for your own use and if you
would like to display your edited-version of the base I created you may, as long as you link me
directly below. If you do this, you must state, "This is an edited version of Silver Lining's
base". In that sentence the words, "Silver Lining" must link back to my site. If you
decide to edit a base, you may not do so by taking parts of other bases and sticking them
together. To edit my base, you MAY either switch around the body or edit something and
draw it in your own way. Do not recolor a base and claim it as an edited-version. If you
would like a different skin color, e-mail me the palette and I'll see what I can do.
