Bio: During my professional education in the automotive service sector I started COWO ELECTRONIC in 1984. Main objective became the Sinclair QL professional computer with its revolutionary operating system QDOS and its derivates. I run the COWO ELECTRONIC business (software development, publishing, trading) in parallel to education and military services where I served as an officer in telecommunication.
In 1992 I joined AGRO-DATA AG as software-developer for ERP applications. I stayed 17 years with the company which went through several mutations (name changes, spin offs, mergers, joint ventures). For the last 10 years I served as a director in the management board. I made a difference in building and leading the retail solutions business unit to a leading market position in the Swiss market. Revenue of my business unit reached 15 million CHF, employee count peaked at 40.
After leaving PC-WARE in summer 2009 I take a sabbatical focusing on family and personal interests.
