Sonic Jam is basically a collection of the four big Sonic games on the Genesis: Sonic 1, Sonic 2, Sonic 3, and Sonic & Knuckles. You can also use S&K's lock-on technology to lock on the first three games like you could on the original Genesis version. There's also a special feature in the game called Sonic World. A 3D stage where you can run special time attacks and explore Sonic memoribillia. You can view images of Sonic and his friends, listen to your favorite Sonic tunes, watch special movies of the Blue Blur, and you can also look at the Tracks of Spin, featuring the highlights of Sonic rise to the top of the video game industry. MSM's Review There was practically no point to this game. The Sonic World addition was nice, allowing us to look at all that Sonic stuff. This is were I also got interested in the Sonic anime. Not to mention seeing the Japanese and European versions of some of the Sonic games. But if they were re-releasing the four favorite Sonic games for the Saturn, they could at least enchanced the graphics and music somewhat. Put simply, this was an absolute waste of time. They should have gotten Sonic X-Treme done and released instead of working on this garbage. Rating: */***** Strategy | Secrets |
