In Sonic 3, Sonic and Tails had just finished destroying the Death Egg from Sonic 2. After exploring some areas of Mobius, their plane crash lands on the mysterious Floating Island. They run into Knuckles the Echidna, the guardian of the island and the Chaos Emeralds that keep it aloft. He accuses them of trying to steal the emeralds, and runs off to await them. Our heros learn that Robotnik is at it again. His Death Egg ship had crashed landed on the island, and he was trying to steal the emeralds to power up his ship again. He had fooled Knuckles into believeing that Sonic and Tails were after the emeralds, so he could get them for himself! Looks like the Blue Blur and the two-tails fox have to stop Robotnik once again! There are six zones, each two acts long. You face a mini boss at the end of act 1, and Robotnik at the end of act 2. There are 3D special stages were you collect blue spheres to get the Chaos Emeralds. I'll have a walkthrough coming soon. MSM's Review This game is a drag. It's too short, and there way too many hard areas that could take some time to get used to. But if you lock it on with Sonic & Knuckles, it's a lot better. Rating: **½/***** Strategy | Secrets |
