Sonic the Hedgehog. Probably the greatest game/tv series/etc. ever. Originated in Japan as SEGA's "Mario". Spanning games on over 5 systems. First game Sonic 1-3 for the Genesis. Setting everything off. Then, Sonic 3 and Knuckles, probably everyone's favorite Sonic game.
